Description
One of the most original ideas of American experimental composer John Cage is 4 minutes and 33 seconds of the on-stage silence. Recording of gentle Sonatas and Interludes for prepared piano were highly rated by the British magazine Classic FM: “Nora Skuta has made something of a speciality of the piece, even working with Cage himself, and she unlocks the enigmatic mechanism and sly humour of his writing with pellucid clarity. (…) Cage would have love it – don´t hesitate!”
