Kari Sál: Betesda

Description

Kari Sál – Karina Bałdych (Srocka) is Polish singer, lyricist, and songwriter. She was raised in Bieszczady, the place she draws inspiration from: the reflection of its nature, beauty, and richness of colours is audible in her music and lyrics. Her achievements include the realization of the composition commissioned by Łódź Philharmonic.

Betesda is spirited music made under the influence of paintings and the journey to Iceland, where in a small village called Kirkjubæjarklaustur, Kari wrote most of her pieces. Therefore, multiculturalism with the richness of its dialogue is reflected in her music. It includes the elements of jazz, classical and world music and is sung in Polish.
